Girl, 7, says teacher cut her face with scissors

A first-grader was reportedly injured in the face by her teacher who used a pair of scissors to warn her in a math class last Wednesday, Shanghai TV reported yesterday.
The 7-year-old student at the Liaoyuan Experimental School in Minhang District was shown with a cut in her left cheek in the STV news clip. Her parents didn't realize until two days after the incident when their daughter came home from the boarding school.
The girl's father surnamed Ye said other students in the school also alleged that the math teacher often used scissors to threaten naughty students.
The school has not made a comment on the incident despite Ye's complaint.
