MORE than 30,000 people applied for the government institution written-exam held yesterday to compete for the 2,000 posts in institutions and organizations affiliated with the city or district government.
As many do for public servant posts, people chased the positions in government-affiliated institutions for the jobs' stability in the sluggish market, even though the posts may pay less.
