EAST China Normal University set up a reading center on campus with the Commercial Press yesterday to promote reading among students.
The center, the first of its kind in Shanghai to be operated jointly by a university and a publishing house, is not only a book store, but also a coffee bar and a platform for cultural activities, such as lectures, salons and exhibitions.
