FRESHMEN majoring in life and environment related subjects at Shanghai Jiao Tong University will from this fall be able to opt for “interdisciplinary education through a cross platform,” the university said yesterday. The Cross Platform of Life and Environment will cover 12 subjects, including life science, food, chemistry and chemical engineering.
