Shanghai rules out any exam changes

The Shanghai Education Commission said yesterday it had no plans to reduce the portion of English tests for college entrance exams.
The commission would inform students at least a year or two before they plan any big changes to ensure they have enough time to prepare.
Shanghai primary students start to learn English from Grade 1.
