ROCHE Diagnostic Shanghai Limited gave 100,000 yuan (US$14,640) scholarships yesterday to 22 medical students at Jiao Tong University yesterday. It is the nation's first such medical scholarship launched by a diagnostic company, which plans to give scholarships to 100 students from 14 Chinese medical universities next year.
