STUDENTS in East China University of Science and Technology's survival contest are required this year to plan starting their own business in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, as opposed to the previous test of surviving for 10 days in an unfamiliar place on only 100 yuan (US$14.63). Teams of four will be given 1,200 yuan to fund their venture. The winners will get up to 300,000 yuan to help put their business into practice.
