THE US-China Institute for Business and Law was established in Fudan University today for research on commerce and law of the two countries.
The institute was co-founded by Fudan's School of Management, University of California, Irvine School of Law and UC Irvine School of Management.
Chinese and American scholars, industry leaders and policy makers can share ideas and develop cooperation via the platform, said Lu Xiongwen, dean of the Fudan University School of Management.
The institute plans to publish bi-lingual research findings on government policies and business environment, and hold summit meetings in both countries to enhance mutual understanding.
