800 museum helpers picked

SHANGHAI yesterday recruited 800 volunteers for the China Art Palace and China Contemporary Art Museum, two major cultural venues of the city to open in October.
The palace is renovated from the China Pavilion in the Pudong New Area, while the contemporary art museum is on the opposite bank of the Huangpu River in a 100-year-old power plant featuring the "weather chimney."
