A legend comes to town

SIX-TIME Grammy Award-winning American soul singer John Legend will play his first concert in Shanghai next month.
"This will be my first time in Shanghai and my first time in Chinese mainland. I'm very excited to meet my Chinese fans," Legend said.
Even more exciting for local fans is that Hong Kong singer Karen Mok will perform with him.
The concert is part of Legend's world tour, which he embarked upon after performing at the Academy Awards on February 22. Since then Legend has performed in Europe, the Philippines, South Korea and Japan.
The piano-playing singer will perform songs from his three albums - "Get Lifted," "Once Again" and "Evolver" - as well as a few covers in a 90-minute show.
Born in 1978, Legend released his debut album, "Get Lifted," in late 2004. It featured collaborations with Kanye West and Snoop Dogg.
Legend's special guest for the Shanghai concert, Karen Mok, is a sexy performer who has won two Golden Melody awards.
She'll perform her hit song "Overcast Day" and a duet with Legend.
After Shanghai, Legend will perform in Macau and Beijing.
The concert will be held next Wednesday at Shanghai Yunfeng Theater.
