A-mei's in love, but she'll keep on singing
TAIWANESE pop star A-mei visited Shanghai this week to record a performance which will be screened during the upcoming Spring Festival.
A-mei is an ethnic Puyuma, one of the aboriginal groups of Taiwan. She sold more than a million copies of her debut album in Taiwan.
The 36-year-old has kept pretty quiet about her private life but in a recent TV interview she admitted she was in love with a basketball player. Some fans feared she might quit the music industry if she got married.
But A-mei reassured fans: "I haven't thought about marriage yet. And I won't quit even if I'm married. I hope I can balance my family life and career since I can't live without singing."
