Shanghai Ballet's performance of "Swan Lake" will open Shanghai Grand Theatre's 2010-11 season tomorrow, one of 560 world-class performances to be featured throughout the coming 12 months.
Top orchestral conductors such as Kurt Masur and Zubin Mehta will once again grace the stage and opera star Angela Gheorghiu will make her Shanghai debut. Also appearing during the season will be renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, violinists Midori, Lin Cho-liang and pianist Li Yundi.
