Brushing up on Hungarian culture
FIVE pieces of art relating to work by renowned 19th century Hungarian poet Sandor Petofi are on show at the Hudec Memorial Hall today, the last day of the Hungarian Design Forum.
The works were created by students from the Design School of East China Normal University and Jiao Tong University, at the invitation of the MOME Laboratory in Budapest.
Events have also been commemorating Laszlo Hudec, the Hungarian architect who designed many historic Shanghai buildings. The memorial hall was formerly Hudec’s home.
