Carnival's not over

SHANGHAI Grand Carnival is coming back after a six-year hiatus and will be held on the World Expo site in Pudong from July 23 until October 30.

At 100 days, this is the longest run in the carnival's history, and the venue, at more than 80,000 square meters, is the largest as well. The event includes numerous rides and attractions. Tickets cost 100 yuan (US$15) for adults and 50 yuan for children. The site, near the Expo Exit 4 on Bailianjing Road between Expo Avenue and Pudong Road S, is open 1pm to 10pm weekdays and 10am to 10pm on weekends and holidays.
