Danish designs on show

A HOST of creative and latest designs will be on show at the “Danish Design Days” in the city until April 30.

The exhibition, which opens today, is arranged by the Royal Danish Consulate to mark the five-day state visit to China by Queen Margrethe II.

She will visit the exhibition and officially open a pop-up shop in the Design Commune in Jing’an District on April 28, the consulate said.

Jewelry, clothing, furniture, toys and other products from 16 Danish companies will be on display at the exhibition.

The royals will arrive in Shanghai on Sunday and leave for Denmark on Monday.

They will also participate in the opening of an innovation and investment conference to mark the 40th anniversary of the Sino-Denmark shipping agreement and sail on the Huangpu River, the Danish foreign ministry said on its website.
