Disney on hunt for top talent
SHANGHAI Disney Resort yesterday kicked off its search for thousands of new graduates with a campus roadshow.
Though the actual recruitment process won’t start until after June, the company is keen to promote itself to its prospective employees.
Over the coming months it will seek to fill positions in management, merchandising, park and hotel operations, and food and beverage, said Mike Crawford, its general manager.
The roadshow will visit several colleges in Shanghai before moving on to other regions, including Zhejiang, Anhui and Henan, he said.
Concurrently, members of Disney’s entertainment team will be visiting performing arts colleges in Shanghai in a bid to attract talented performers for the resort, which is set to open at the end of next year.
