'Golden Night' comedy variety show to rely on young artists

"GOLDEN Night," the Chinese mainland's first situation comedy variety show will start its airing on Dragon TV on Saturday evening.
The show will be hosted by famous modern dancer, choreographer and talk show anchor Jin Xing.
Set to the nostalgic scenes of Shanghai, comedy actors will be invited to give hilarious acts about the lives and emotions of ordinary people.
"The show will feature a distinctive flavor of the city," said Jin. "We will not rely on celebrities to attract audiences. Content is king. Original comedy acts will be presented by young comedy actors."
