Law to delight local fans

TAIWANESE pop star Law Chi Cheung is at Shanghai's Thumb Square this afternoon to promote his latest album.
Known for his dance skills and sense of humor on variety shows, Law is popular with teenagers and a similar event last year attracted nearly 10,000 fans.
His new album has sold more than 80,000 copies in Taiwan, but there was controversy when doubts about the figures were raised by Taiwanese singer/songwriter Wang Leehom.
Wang released his latest album at about the same time and sold fewer copies, a surprise to many since Wang enjoys a larger following. Wang's record company even organized a press conference proposing an agreement on sales numbers.
Taiwanese mega star Jay Chow also attended the meeting to support the agreement.
Law, in turn, has denied there are any doubts about his sales which he confirmed by checking marketing slips.
