A FESTIVAL of 12 world-class concerts will kick off at Shanghai Oriental Art Center starting May 1 to celebrate the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, held by Wenhui-Xinmin United Press Group and the art center.
Performers include the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, conductor Tan Muhai and pianist Lang Lang. Ticket sales start today, with most costing only 30 yuan (US$4.28) to 80 yuan.
