New Midi Music Festival added
MUSIC fans who missed the Shanghai Midi Musical Festival now have another chance to rock, as the Pudong New Area will hold the first Shanghai Pudong Midi Music Festival next month to wow music lovers.
Pudong Midi will be held at the Shuanghui Plaza in Lujiazui on October 27 and organizers expect it to continue.
The event is inspired by the Shanghai Midi Music Festival, the oldest international outdoor rock festival in China, which came to Shanghai for the first time last year and attracted as many as 60,000 music fans.
The Pudong event has the same organizer - Beijing Midi School of Music and Beijing Midi Production Co Ltd.
The event is part of the Pudong Cultural and Art Festival, which will have 150 activities.
The festival will run between Friday and November 15. Apart from Midi, locals will be able to enjoy a dancing performance by a group from Wales, concerts, sculpture and a painting exhibition featuring overseas artists.
