Park ‘assessed’

THE first phase of a suburban park on Changxing Island in Chongming County is undergoing an environmental impact assessment, and will open to the public soon, authorities said yesterday. The park, which covers 27 square kilometers is one of seven to be built in the city. A suburban park opened in Langxia, Jinshan District, in November.
