Parks reopening
Most city parks that closed on Tuesday due to the rainstorms reopened yesterday.
However, a few, including Zhudi Park in Minhang District, remain closed due to flooding. It may take another three days for Zhudi Park to reopen, the Shanghai Greenery and Public Sanitation Bureau said.
Among those reopening were Guyi Park, Xinzhuang Park, Hanghua Park and Guteng Park, most of which are in Minhang District.
Jinjiang Amusement Park and Bihaijinsha Beach in Fengxian District and Happy Valley in Songjiang District also reopened.
Some 70 parks and animal attractions, including Binjiang Forest Park, Shanghai Zoo, Chenshan Botanic Garden, Gongqing Forest Park, Zhongshan Park and Jing’an Park closed on Tuesday.
