Student TV festival ends
EIGHTEEN awards were presented at the closing ceremony of the 10th Shanghai Student Television Festival at the Shanghai Children's Art Theater on Wednesday evening.
The highest honor, “Lilac Jury Awards”, was won by three productions: Entsprechen, an animation film produced by students from the China Academy of Art; Borderline, a drama created by Shanghai Vancouver Film School students; and The Candle in the Wind, a documentary made by students of Communication University of China. The festival, launched by the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts and East China Normal University in 2008, received 4,385 films and TV programs produced by college students from all over the country in the past 10 years.
