TV series adaption for box office hit ‘So Young’ to air on local channel
THE TV series adaptation of Xin Yiwu's popular youth romance novel "So Young" will air on Dragon TV starting next Monday.
Cast of the highly-anticipated series held a campus meeting with local students at Jiaotong University today.
The novel's film adaptation by Zhao Wei was a box office sensation in 2013, taking 726 million yuan nationwide.
The series is helmed by veteran director Yang Wenjun. Starring Yang Le and Ma Ke, it centers on a group of college students' vivid campus life, love and dream.
Director Yang said that the series not only pays tribute to youth, but displays real-life subjects and the emotions of Chinese young people as well.
