A HOST of events are lined up for the 9th edition of the Croisements Festival that runs until July 10 in Shanghai.
The festival marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, French consulate officials said yesterday.
French bands will perform classical, jazz, rock&roll, electro-pop and folk music during the Dolstitial Music Day on June 21-22. The events are free to the public.
French singers Philippe Jaroussky and Patricia Kaas will also perform in the city. Organizers have invited close to 1,000 French and Chinese artists to host 100 events in more than 40 cities in China.
