Tourism bureau and SMG sign partnership

THE Shanghai Tourism Bureau today signed a strategic cooperation agreement with SMG to create a powerful tourism promotion platform by pooling resources.
Their cooperation will combine news coverage, digital programs for IPTV, and Internet videos to promote the city's tourist attractions to a broader audience at home and abroad.
"It is an exploration of coordinated development for tourism and culture. We hope it can open a new chapter," said Yang Jinsong, deputy director of the Shanghai Tourism Bureau.
