World Culture Forum to open in Shanghai next month
THIS year’s World Culture Forum (Taihu, China) will be held in Shanghai on June 18-19 and about 500 Chinese and foreign heads of state, scholars, entrepreneurs and journalists will attend.
The annual forum, initiated in 2012, will discuss international cultural exchanges, strengthening diplomatic relationship, building a new-type China-US relationship, innovation of cultural industry, and promoting China’s soft power.
The forum, organized by the Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Shanghai government and the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs, aims to promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
Preparation for the meeting is going on smoothly and media registration will start soon.
