Xi’an to host Silk Road this fall

THE third Silk Road International Film Festival is returning to Xi’an this fall from September 19 to 23, presenting an array of works from Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and Europe, it was announced at the ongoing Shanghai International Film and TV Festival.
The SRIFF, held annually in Fuzhou or Xi’an (the two cities take turns every year) , welcomes film productions from regions that were once part of the historic Silk Road trade routes.
It aims to promote international cooperation and cultural exchanges, and provide a platform for expanding the influence of Chinese cinema.
