Yao Ming on silver screen

CHINA'S NBA star Yao Ming, retired Los Angeles Lakers' Magic Johnson and the legend Michael Jordan are expected to star with film star Jay Chou, Daniel Wu and Huang Xiaoming in a film titled "Amazing."
The film, which starts shooting next month, tells a story of a team of young basketball lovers chasing their dream to be NBA stars.
The young team, played by film stars Jay Chou, Daniel Wu, Shawn Yue, Ethan Ruan and Huang Xiaoming, compete with professional players including NBA stars Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony and Yi Jianlian.
Yao Ming, Michael Jordan and Earvin "Magic" Johnson will play the role of coaches in the film.
Chinese mainland director Hu Xuehua will direct the film, sponsored by the Shanghai Film Group Corp and Dasheng International.
