ALL local hazardous chemicals producers operating outside industrial parks will be removed to the city's outskirts by the end of next year, local authorities said yesterday. The city currently has about 300 producers of hazardous chemicals operating outside industrial parks, and 76 of them will be relocated to designated areas by this December, according to the Shanghai Administration of Work Safety. Another 200-plus companies will complete their relocation in 2012.
