'Silk Road Talk' revived after over 2,000 years
THE First Iran-China Silk Road Economic Opportunities Seminar was held on September 8 in Shanghai.
The event was organized by IRANCHAM-Shanghai and TPO Iran, aiming at enhancing and strengthening the bilateral cooperation and boosting up the new fields of joint investments between the two countries.
Over 160 elite representatives from economy-related sectors attended this event, including Consulate General of I.R.IRAN-Shanghai, TPO Iran, IRANCHAM-Shanghai, IRISL, I.R.IRAN FTZ, CCPIT-Shanghai, CCOIC-Shanghai, Shanghai Pudong New Area Commission of Commerce, Zhejiang Department of Commerce, Yiwu government and Chinese company ZPMC.
Keynote speakers all actively expressed their thoughts and opinions.
“China is the good friend of I.R.Iran. Iran will not forget even in the most difficult time China still firmly develop friendly cooperation with Iran.” I.R.IRAN-Shanghai Consul General Alireza Irvash stated during the seminar.
Meanwhile, he expressed that the “One Belt One Road Initiative” that was advocated by Chinese President Xi Jinping is not only China’s economic road but also culture road. It will bring enormous opportunities to those countries along the road.
To promote the trade and economies between Iran and China, the agency banking relationships should be created and developed to deduct the remittance cost, said Ali Dehghani, Commercial Counsellor of Consulate General I.R.IRAN-Shanghai.
He also mentioned that the products quality that exported to Iran should be improved and that joint investment should also be focused.
