30 hit by poisoning

MORE than 30 office workers went down with food poisoning after having lunch in downtown Jing'an District yesterday. City's health authorities and police were looking into the matter. Most of the affected workers were discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment. The workers, all of them from a construction design institute, were rushed to the hospital about 2pm yesterday after they suffered bouts of vomiting or diarrhea. Most of them said they had pig's knuckles for lunch.
