Blood bank needs donors

THE Shanghai Blood Administration Office plans to collect 100,000 liters of blood for clinical use this year, 8,000 liters more than last year. The higher target comes in response to increased demand from elderly locals and patients from outside the city. To achieve its goal, the office needs to attract 100 more donors than last year. It said it will target younger audiences by using popular new media such as WeChat.
