A HOTLINE (400-888-3060) and a Website (nicorette.cn) were launched to give support to people who want to quit smoking, a medical forum was told yesterday. Experts said those who want to quit may be helped with guidance from doctors, medication and support from family and society. There are 350 million smokers in China. Only 2.5 percent of smokers who planned to quit succeeded in not smoking for one year.
