Cold drug caution

FOOD and Drug Administration officials are warning parents about side effects from popular over-the-counter cold medicines for young children. The state FDA banned some cold medicines containing amantadine hydrochloride among infants under one year old and "don't recommend" them for children under five. No order has been made to remove the products from shelves.
