Dairy, candy rules drawn up
DETAILED regulations on dairy products and candies have been drawn up by the Ministry of Health and China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, officials told the first Asian Probiotics Convention in Shanghai.
The regulations are made in line with the new Food Safety Law enacted on June 1 and will set strict rules to prevent scandals such as the one involving tainted milk powder last year.
