The new branch of Shanghai No. 1 Maternity and Child Health Hospital opened yesterday in the Beicai area of the Pudong New Area. The hospital has 500 beds. Also yesterday, construction began on the new branch of the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital of Fudan University in Minhang District. It will open in 2017.
