Jumping can help with testicle injuries, doctor says
A Shanghai doctor said jumping can help when a man's testicles become stuck inside the pelvis after a man was sent to Shanghai No.411 Hospital of the People's Liberation Army yesterday because he was injured in the crotch during kung fu training.
Doctors said the man should be fine as he received timely treatment.
Doctor Lang Genqiang from the hospital's urology department said jumping can be an effective emergency measure.
"The testicles can be forced into the body from a heavy blow," Lang said. "If the testicles don't drop back outside the body, the result will be serious."
Doctors warned that men need to see a physician as quickly as possible if such an injury occurs, especially if they have nausea and vomiting symptoms.
