Man, 65, dies on road; cause unknown

A 65-year-old man died suddenly at the crossroad of Zhoujiazui Road and Jiangpu Road in Yangpu District this morning.
He fell on the ground suddenly and died at about 7:45am, witnesses said.
His family members rushed to the scene after being notified and claimed the man showed no symptoms of disease before. The cause of his death is now under investigation.
As the city's temperature plunged yesterday due to a cold front, the incidence of cerebrovascular disease will rise. People with a history of cerebrovascular disease and elderly people should keep warm when they go out, doctors said.
