New museum to be a science treat
TEMPORARY exhibitions highlighting the five continents of Asia, Africa, America, Europe and Oceania will be held at the Shanghai Museum of Natural History, which will open in 2014.
The new museum, located in Jing'an District, will be a treat for science fans, who will be able to see the real-time exploration and work of African scientists at the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site in South Africa under a visual laboratory, officials from the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, which will manage the natural history museum, said.
