Pudong's quarantined in good health
THE 100-plus people quarantined in a hotel in Shanghai's Pudong New Area as a result of swine flu fears were reported to be in good health yesterday.
The group included the 98 Chinese who were repatriated from Mexico by charter flight last Wednesday, a Shanghai doctor supervising that trip and three Chinese from Henan Province and an America who were on a flight from Detroit to Tokyo on Friday that carried three people later confirmed to be Japan's first swine flu victims. The four had traveled from Tokyo to Shanghai, along with four others who went on to Beijing and were placed under quarantine. (Cai Wenjun)
