SHANGHAI Health Bureau yesterday reported 2,831 cases of serious infectious diseases in April, including one patient with swine flu. The top five diseases were syphilis, tuberculosis, gonorrhea, viral hepatitis and dysentery. There were 11 deaths from tuberculosis, AIDS and viral hepatitis.
