Translational 1st

China’s first national translational medicine center will be established in Shanghai to explore cutting-edge therapy and new drugs for tumors, cardiovascular disease and metabolic diseases. As well as lab research, the center will have 300 beds for patients taking part in clinical trials on new medicines. Translational medicine “translates” findings into diagnostic tools, medicines, procedures, policies and education.
