Twins on mend

SUI Jianshuang and Sui Jianlian, the separated conjoined twin girls, were moved out of intensive care to an ordinary ward at Shanghai Children's Hospital yesterday. The twins, abandoned at birth and taken in by an orphanage in southern China's Guangdong Province, underwent separation surgery on September 10. They were connected from the chest bone to the stomach and shared one liver.
