5-vehicle collision snarls traffic in Pudong

A pileup of three buses and two taxies occurred in Shanghai's Pudong New Area this morning, leaving several passengers injured, according to xinmin.cn.
The accident happened around 9:12am when a bus suddenly changed the lane and was hit by another bus near the intersection of Dongfang Road and Xiangcheng Road.
In a chain reaction, a third bus crashed into the guardrail in the middle of the road and two taxies were also hit.
Bus windows were shattered in the collision and passengers evacuated immediately, according to witnesses.
The accident caused severe road congestions in the area. Police were at the scene to restore traffic.
