All domestic flights to leave after 9pm cancelled

All outbound domestic flights to leave from two local airports at and after 9pm have been cancelled because of heavy thunder storms, city airport police announced.
The thundery weather started in the city early this afternoon. The airport authority said the poor weather condition had already caused massive delays to local flights. Swarms of travelers have already been stranded at the airports.
The airport police are urging travelers to contact the air companies to get the latest flight schedule and adjustments.
The mercury had already begun to drop early in the afternoon following a short burst of heavy squall, when the weathermen lifted a yellow high-temperature warning, which was issued this morning.
Maximum temperatures at the weekend will ease because of a cold current and rains, the weather bureau forecast.
