Better get set for warm and wet
THE outlook for the coming days is warm and wet, as a bank of clouds pushed by a looming typhoon makes its way towards the city.
Today will likely start dry, though there is a chance of showers in the afternoon, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said yesterday.
The mercury is expected to range between 26 and 33 degrees Celsius, which is a shade cooler than yesterday, it said.
The situation is unlikely to change much through the weekend — the daily high might fall by a degree or two — although there is an increased chance of heavier showers on Sunday and Monday, due to the impact of Typhoon Swan, which is currently heading towards Taiwan.
