SHANGHAI is set to be soaked again today when this week’s second storm brings heavy rain and possibly thunder, forecasters said.
The stormy weather is expected to last through the night and taper off tomorrow.
Today’s storm is likely to affect traffic during both the morning and evening rush hours and may cause flooding in some areas. Most of the city is expected to see rainfall of 30 to 50 millimeters and some districts may get between 50 and 70 millimeters.
The wet weather will end on Sunday as a high-pressure system moves in, and the next four days will be cloudy.
