Bridge closed for opening rehearsal

LUPU Bridge will be closed to traffic and some key roads may also be affected to allow rehearsals for the opening ceremony of the World Expo next week.
Lupu Bridge, which passes over the Expo site, will be closed from 10am to midnight on April 27 and from 12am on April 30 to 4am on May 1.
Police may enact similar measures on part of the Yan'an Elevated Road, the Inner Ring Road, Nanpu Bridge and the Yan'an Road Tunnel on April 30 from 4pm to 12am depending on the traffic situation.
Authorities will also impose traffic controls on waterways on April 25 from 2am to 8am. The controlled area, stretching from Nanpu Bridge to the mouth of the Chuanyang River, will be off-limits to vessels except for ferries, police, maritime patrol boats and licensed vessels.
