British Airways will offer daily flight between Shanghai and London
BRITISH Airways will increase its direct service between Shanghai and London to daily starting at the end of the month, the airline said today.
The daily flight between Shanghai Pudong International Airport and London Heathrow will be served by a Boeing 777 aircraft.
Previously the airline offered six flights per week between Shanghai and London.
Tickets for the additional flight to and from Shanghai cost 2,800 yuan (US$450.8), excluding taxes and fuel surcharges. The full price for a return ticket is about 6,000 yuan.
"The airline will begin offering daily service with the growing importance of Shanghai as a key business and leisure travel destination," said Tracy Dedman, the airline's regional general manager of China and Philippines.
Dedman said the new service will help provide travelers with even greater choice and flexibility.
